      Chaotic workspace with too many initiatives

      Pros

      Most of the stakeholders and team members I worked with have great industry experience and are smart and strategic people.

      Cons

      Gopuff has a difficult time prioritizing initiatives. The product and engineering space is chaotic, with frequent team member and manager turnover. Gopuff tends to focus on too many objectives, making it difficult to direct the necessary time and effort to achieving effective and scalable solutions.

      Pros

      Good communication woth teams on the ground. People I work with inside the warehouse are awesome.

      Cons

      Poor communication from anyone outside of the warehouse. Low staffing and high turnover rate makes it a very stressful job for everyone, and no one seems interested in trying to alleviate it, as they'll just hire someone else when you burn out and quit.

      - For awhile they had great new hires who were smart and driven, unfortunately most of them aren’t there anymore -Cool partnerships

      Cons

      -The Merchandising teams had TERRIBLE leaders. No collaboration, fear tactics, slow and archaic. - CEOs are more focused on playing on their yachts than letting people who are smarter than them do their jobs. Pacing toward an IPO when the business is NOT doing well. - becoming more cutthroat and mean to brands, focused on the Krafts of the world and cuttin the local guys.
