Pros

No supervisor breathing down your neck. You basically operate in your own little world with zero interference.

Cons

No supervisor breathing down your neck… until something goes wrong, and suddenly you’re wondering who exactly is supposed to help (spoiler: no one). Zero structure, zero communication, and you’re pretty much left to figure everything out yourself.
