Zero hours contract, you are expected to be available 24/7 with shifts starting at 5am one day and doing a night shift two days later. Although you are on zero hours contract only 3 people are allowed to be off at any time which is unfair considering that some staff take two months off at once. VPs pass on the culture of 'sacrifice', that all employees have to 'be the family', 'work extra' and 'use data to base decisions' however during finance meetings it's discussed openly how to worsen customer experience for profit, how bottom employees have to sacrifice even more, pay the least possible to store managers and that KPIs performance doesn't really mean anything when making decisions.
