Started out great, but not worth the pay
Pros
-Flexible schedule allows for people in classes to get school work done while also working a full time schedule -Laid back environment compared to other jobs -Room for advancement only if you're in the right location -Easy to get time off approved -Benefits and paid sick time
Cons
-No yearly raises for operations managers, spent my whole time making the same 13/hr (minimum wage here is 11.50) -If you're not in higher management your needs as an operations manager are put on the back burner and you're basically the lowest on the totem poll -A lot of outside hire general managers that don't put their staff first and who honestly have no idea what they're doing because they're not trained properly -Only care about the bottom line -Constantly understaffed during the night shift at the 2 locations I worked for making my job more stressful
