      Pros

      There no pros at all. I was going to say the unlimited PTO, but that is false. They micro manage you so much that you are afraid of taking 30 seconds off.

      Disorganized company No plan of action Reduces staff every 6 months Horrible benefits No career advancement CEOs are very rude to the staff People and culture team led by a lawyer that has zero experience in HR, she lies a lot Good old boys club, a lot of favoritism Sad discounts to employees Staff has to purchase marketing to advertise the company Zero work life balance The pay is very low The company lost alcohol license due to selling alcohol to minors

      Pros

      You and your teammates will form trauma bonds which generally create a cohesive unit and lasting friendships. Benefits are mid-range, had better and worse.

      Cons

      Over the past 3 years there have been layoffs every 3-6 months which leave many departments vacated or with a lone member who is expected to carry the load, and like it, with each round, causing the sites to be thrown into chaos with the interruption of support. There is very little female senior leadership, and the "diversity" of the leadership team is barely existent. BevMo! was a fun and friendly environment to work at for most of my time there until Gopuff bought the company and started systematically gutting the soul of the business. Decision making is questionable at best and I gave up trying to rationalize them to save my mental health. They even tried to get rid of the 5 cent sale, the thing BevMo! is known for, which was overwhelmingly rejected by customers.

      Lucky to have an awesome GM and DM Weekly "shark tank" calls that forces me to understand how to be able to speak to the business operations at our location
