Gobel has great core values that are shared by all the employees throughout the organization. I had the opportunity to work on both Gorbel's material handling products as well as Gorbel Medical's devices alongwith highly skilled peers in the product development team. The leadership is fantastic and honest and the organization is very transparent in communicating ongoing projects, future plans, etc. The company encourages all kinds of ideas for continuous improvement and innovation and due recognition is given for the effort. There is focus on growth as well maintenance of the current line of products which provides several opportunities for employee development in various domains (both vertically as well as horizontally in the organization). The work/life balance is good and you will find employees (including the CEO) biking during lunch-time or participating in the after-hours summer volleyball league (at the on-site courts) or in the several extra-curricular activities held throughout the year. The company's employees definitely live by the "Defying Gravity" and "Improving People's Lives" philosophy internally and externally (which was very evident from my interaction with customers as well as patients using the SafeGait devices).
