Pros

Great team, very friendly workplace, bonuses once a quarter if the store does good. Rewards for great performance

Cons

Very limited hours, limited salary and absolutely no benefits. You always have to work weekends and can hardly ever take any time off to attend personal matters.

Pros

Gordon's is a great place to work at because it's family oriented and when you are working along side your peers you actually feel like you become a bit of a family. They have parties for employees and get together's outside the workplace that can relax tension when not in the workplace.

Cons

They expect way too much out of their workers for far too little pay. And sometimes they don't even recognize you for all the hardwork that you put in unless you show and tell them what you were able to accomplish. I won the Employee of the Year award twice in my 6 years of being employed at gordons, however, I think as well as my fellow other co-workers do to, that I should have won it five times in a row. It was given to other employees simply because, "You had already won it twice." At least thats what I was told by management. I come from a world that if you truly are the best employee that is head and shoulders above everyone else, then you should be able to recognized for it.

Pros

Profit Sharing, Benefits, Flexible Scheduling, Bonus every 3 months or so, 401k startup that follows you from job to job, paid weekly

Cons

backbreaking labor for minimum wage (which they try to make up for with the tri-monthly bonus, which can only cap out at $300), complete lack of training structure so that management ends up relying on 3 capable workers to pick up slack/tasks for the other 20, hiring bodies instead of competent people, minors are a primary resource for staff so that (again) most of the tasks outside of talking to customers falls onto 18+ year old employees of which there are very little on the roster, no accountability for store management - complete lack of professionality/appropriate managerial behavior by Store Manager, Store Manager does what she wants how/when she wants to do it free of fear of confrontation because she and her boss are friends,
