Pros

I worked for Grainger for the past 5 years in the Financial Service Depart. My management & team members are the best. Grainger encourages growth & movement if you're looking to move up or to a different department, they provide the tools need to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. There is a great work life balance at Grainger wonderful inclusion & diversity. Grainger truly cares about the people they have working for them & show that with the pay & great benefits that we receive. I know that my leaders & coworkers care about me & the things going on in my life, when I just had a major surgery this past year, I felt no stress from having to take a leave for a month my team & managers checked in on me to see how I was they always helped keep my accounts worked so I would not come back to an overload of unworked. If you are looking for an amazing place to work that truly cares about you and that will help you reach whatever work goals or even personal goals, you have come to Grainger. I truly love my job. I just proofread what I wrote, and it sounds like I am being paid to write this but no this honestly the way I feel about my job and have no plans on leaving here until I have to retire.

Cons

I really don't have any cons.

Pros

They care about their customer and employees. There is room for advancement if you want to grow! I have had 3 supervisors and every one of them has been very supportive.

Cons

As far as cons go I think it depends on your department. I am in Financial Services, and I do not really see any cons.

Pros

- 144 hours of PTO starting - coworkers are friendly - development opportunities - all departments outside of finance are managed well and good to work in

Cons

- no flexibility - leaders do not assume good intent for team members - productivity goals are the main focus of leadership, every second of your day will be looked at. You will get in trouble even if you go to the bathroom - finance management is so disconnected, metrics are set unreasonably high
