Pros

Lots of perks, culture stressing continuing education, personal development, managing stress, and many other small perks that make a big difference.

Cons

Work-life balance is strained sometimes. Long hours emphasized frequently. Bureaucracy is dense and sometimes difficult to navigate. People who are bad at their jobs don't get fired.

Pros

Great profit sharing, room for growth, great co-workers

Cons

The layers of middle management is unnecessary. They try to over think the sales process.

Pros

Many opportunities where you are able to diversify your career. Generous paid vacation time.Good work life balance. Able to work with a flexible schedule.

Cons

We compete against our own subsidiary; Zoro. The prices are half of that at Grainger. Company says that they are a different target audience, however our customers often point out the difference. Sales goals are unrealistic for most Account Managers. Less than half meet their goal annually. Grainger's pricing is very high vs our competition. They ask us to stress our value, but our main competitors provide the same service.
