Pros

Nice market niche for what they do. Some people actually care that their day to day work matters to the broader team.

Cons

Questionable management ethics. Mediocrity is the "over achieving target" for majority of management and company culture. Company arrogance: if it's not invented at Grainger or hasn't been done before at Grainger, it doesn't exist. If you have the capability to recognize that the king has no clothes on and refuse to tell anyone that the the king has no clothes on, even though everyone can see that he doesn't, you will do fine in the company culture.

Pros

The benefits are decent and the wages are somewhat competitive for the area. Good on compensation if you decide on working holidays.

Cons

There is a lack of leadership from the supervisor team. Management rarely shows its appreciation for the job that we do as CSAs. We are asked to do far more than job title describes, with no increase in pay or benefits. The benefits that attracted me to the job are now being decreased one by one. The focus of the company use to be on the employees and customers and is now on "is this best for the company". Supervisors are rarely held to the company's ethical standards and show favortism when promoting.
