Pros

Good people to work with in the operations end of the business. Great comapny with an excellent product offering. Ability to work locally with minimal travel requirements.

Cons

Grainger has moved away from the family oriented company that it made it successful. Current sales management is poor at best. Sales organization being run by individuals from the operations end of the business, lacking sales experience. Current compensation plan seeks to take money from outside sales force. Working harder each year and realizing declining income for efforts. Not prepared for the competition's offerings in the field. Concerned with their own agenda and losing touch with customer focus.
