Pros
To summarize in one phrase: Grainger values its employees. The work environment is educated, friendly and professional. Proudly diversified employees of Grainger are provided with the right tools, training and importantly, encouragement to both succeed in their role and pursue their individual career paths. I've worked for one of Grainger's main competitors, and it's night and day how Grainger employees are treated and valued for their contributions to the organization. There is no better test than this global pandemic to prove what a wonderful organization Grainger is. I am proud of how Grainger has represented what it stands for throughout the pandemic to both its customers and its employees.
Cons
Grainger has strong culture principles that include starting with the customer and winning as one team. If you're someone who enjoys working and making decisions on your own, Grainger's principles will be seen as Cons. However those who apply Grainger's principles to their work, no matter what that work is within the organization, will have success.
