Pros

Industry leader in the MRO market, Best there is in supply chain management to insure customer has what they need when they need it. Noone better in driving costs out of customers operating budgets through competitive products and no cost value added services, Understanding the customers business goals and objectives and developing a true business partnership is the cornerstone of what Grainger is all about

Cons

Being relevant to your customer base often results in additional initiatives and increased hours on the job, Maintaining a life balance can be challenging. Not necessarily a con--more of a challenge

Pros

Profit Sharing has been great over the years. Company has a good since of direction with go to market plans. Many good individuals to work with throughout the organization.

Cons

Hard to advance in career within the company. Tender does not matter any longer within the company; as it did 10 years ago. Hiring more outside of the organization instead of promoting within.
