Pros
Great benefits and flexibility. Depending on where you are there are some really good people to work with. There are some very good managers that listen to you and offer help while others do not want to deal with those that have performance issues that should be dealt with.
Cons
Advancing within the company is difficult at best unless you are willing to relocate. Communication within the mass departments within the company needs to be improved so everyone knows what is going on and who actually has the authority to make the decisions and be willing to put it on paper. Management needs to be held to the same standards as the direct reports and need to be reprimanded when they don't.
