Pros

PTO, work life balance (in branch setting), decent insurance

Cons

took away profit sharing, seems like they are slowly heading into a more corporate direction and not don't care about the small things as much from when I started ie profit sharing and investing into internal candidates for promotions ( lots of outside hires for promotion level jobs )

Pros

In IT, there are a core of tenured people who really care about the success of the company and ensure that projects are completed, systems are available, and the world is kept working. Most of the company's recent IT successes are a byproduct of this team and the work that was put in the 2010's.

Cons

They have replaced all of the senior leaders in GTG with employees from consulting firms and agencies. This has led to echo chamber management filled with buzz words and paint by number McKinsey or Thoughtworks directives. There is very little substance to any of this, but it is sold to the Business in a way that it resembles accomplishment.

Pros

Pay, benefits, no weekends or major holidays.

Cons

Management, double standard, hard workers get the short end of the stick and lazy workers get coddled.
