Bleeding edge of some really cool research Lots of very smart managers and coworkers Managers were or are proficient technical contributors Flexible work schedule Great benefits Great Pay

No real culture/community A lot of very academic work (could be a pro if that’s what you love) Still adjusting to shifts in company direction

Yes, we were acquired when our Founder retired. The new CEO brought in some new leaders to help the company grow and a few of our previous leaders have been recruited away. Although, we hate to see anyone leave, some change is good and the technical teams seems to have adjusted just fine. Thanks for your review!

Extremely intelligent peers who also have good "people skills"; interesting problems to work on; supportive of fully remote work; high level of integrity among managers.

Cons

Multitasking can be intensive at times; government funding requires detailed time-tracking; has a hard time competing with FAANG companies on salary alone.
