"Great company with some not so great managerial teams"
Pros
The company is a great company to work for. High pay, great benefits, and rewards their employees for a job well done. They also hire within and so growing through the company would not be a hard task. The employees are also well trained with constant training of the menu and training of perfect pairing of foods with other foods and wines.
Cons
The company's major downfall is the managers. They have a tendency to take advantage of their good employees. In other words, the good employees always end up picking up the slack for the employees that should not even have a position with the company. For example, being forced (pressured in a closed door office by multiple managers) to work positions not on schedule because of incompetence of other employees. Like any restaurant industry, it is a high stress environment and the ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction is key. The clientele with the grand luxe cafe tends to be a little more "needy." This is partly due to the fact that they have learned if they complain to a manager they get free food and their way no matter the policies set by corporate.
