Pros

-Quiet time of the night, usually low traffic at the time -Easy job to do. Actual work can also be done in a few hours, leaving good wiggle room for other issues or passing the time. -Freedom of judgement as you're the only customer representative there so a lot of decisions fall on you, though you can call higher-ups should it be necessary. -Nice HR team -Bus transportation (Though only seasonally) -Employee housing -Exceptional benefits should you achieve full-time status. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and 401k -Good pay for the work required. -Relatively easy ability to transfer departments, jobs, or apply into promoted positions. -Higher-ups are generally more lax about things. While not necessarily informal, they aren't incredibly strict. -If you ski, snowboard, bike, or hike, it's an area designed for those hobbies and in your off-time will encourage you to do those things if you so choose, including on breaks.

Cons

-Night shift simply isn't for everyone. -A few lack of fail-safes for your shift where if someone earlier in the day messes up, could put you in an unsolvable situation. Though it is rare, it is possible and has come close to happening. (Ex: Someone earlier in the day mixes up names of guests for their rooms, putting someone in a bigger room while occupancy is max. The proper owner of the room comes in at night where there is now no place to put them.) -To achieve full-time status, you'll have to work other jobs in the off season for the company to retain the hours-per-week quota. -Staff can get a bit cliquey in all levels of the company. Being on someone's good side is beneficial, and being on someone's bad side can hurt you drastically if that person is above you as most decisions seem to go through vertical tiers then back down. -Part-time benefits aren't that great. -Cost of living in the area is high as it is a resort town nearby an even bigger resort town. -Snow and ice can get pretty bad for the transportation upwards should you choose to rely on a vehicle rather than their public transportation. -Sometimes higher ups pick and choose what to be strict on.
