Pros
Better organized construction company compared to many in the industry. They have a good handle on departmentally delegating the construction processes. They have been around for 90+ years and will probably be able to stay solvent.
Cons
The people managers are mostly promoted based on technical skills and relationships rather than an ability to effectively communicate and maintain high performances with direct reports. They are primarily an asphalt paving company and have not been able to diversify, which has made them vulnerable to an economy that lacks funding for the public projects they rely on to be successful. Good luck getting any kind of a decent job after this company dumps you. And they have dumped many in the last 4 years.
