Pros

Typical throw money at everything attitude from HR and upper management, therefore lots of perks to keep employees happy. Touting community-involvement...boasting zero debt and all. Sales mentality eh

Cons

Very political structure based on who is friends with who. Managers and supervisors have Resume inflation written all over their face. Very much fragmented within which allows for excessive and passive aggressive friction between departments. Extremely weak operationally, with waste of time and resources absorbed into the law of over communicating to impress customers. Blind leading the blind culture but can be ideal if you know how to fake confidence with customers to make the company look good. When you first start be prepared to be walked all over and treated unprofessionally by other employees. Once you settle in you’ll realize that Granite is just a me-too company that gets customers to sign up for low-class services.

Pros

Base pay isn't too bad, free trip to Boston, and if you're part of the club the VP of sales controls you'll get big commission check eventually

Cons

The favoritism here isn't imagined. Theres only a select handful that consistantly closes sells (which are handed to them) the rest of the employees are left to shuffle between a base of 2000 BS leads that will never go anywhere. Prospect 100 or more clients to cold call daily... most are duplicate accounts or bad numbers or are too small to produce sales potential. If they decide you dont fit in, they will get rid of you
