Pros

Nice on-site gym, good bonuses if they hit certain growth metrics, and some cool co-workers. There is a T stop on the red line that is in the parking lot.

Cons

Where to start.... well you will hit it big at Granite if you can buddy up with one of the senior sales reps and when upper management TELLS you to jump, you politely ask them "how high?" Business hours are 8:00-5:00 but don't be fooled they actually mean 7:30-5:30 minimum. Lunch hour is 12:00-12:59. DO NOT leave your seat at 11:59 and make sure to already be in your seat at 1:00. There are about 1500 employees at the Quincy headquarters with only 4 ways in and out of the parking lot ( 1 of which is shared with another business). So you could imagine what the parking lot looks like at 8am, 12pm, 1pm, and 5pm. My car received damage on 2 different occasions with no notes. Everyone is required to have a parking pass so who ever did it could have easily found out who I was and contacted me. They fluff up the job and convince you that you can make millions. They do pay well for big sales commissions and once you grow your book of business but that does not happen without help from upper management. They hand out freebies to people they like and if you are not on that list you will sift through the worst leads and maybe get a couple sales but never hit quota. Soon after that they will let you go with almost no notice. The internal process is horrific. The issues start at the bottom and run all the way up. No communication between departments. New procedures and policies that are not shared with everyone. They are relying on 1 main product which is on its way out. Frantically trying to create a niche for them selves and not seeing the big picture. I had extremely high hopes for Granite and was very disappointed with the outcome. Good luck.

Pros

Earning Potential, Culture and Management. As long as you come in every day and work hard you will be able to both meet and exceed your financial and career goals. I love hearing from people that you can't make much money in sales or with Granite. What it basically boils down to is, if you work hard you will do well. If you don't want to work hard, don't do sales.

Cons

Working from home/remote is not permitted, but everyone is very upfront with this from the beginning. No smoke and mirrors.

Pros

Good health insurance and 401k match.

Cons

It's so poorly managed I can't even begin to describe it. I would literally have to write a book. All the positive reviews on here are posted by the company. Very unethical sales tactics - told to impersonate other companies to get information on leads and told to harass prospects.
