Cons

I bet this review gets cycled below the bloated fake 5 star reviews. Don't be fooled with the Granite updates and fun facts. You're smarter than that. - Militant schedule for hourly and salary employees. It is not a joke that work starts at 8, lunch is 12-1, and the day ends at 5...but if you leave at 5 you'll get a good eye roll from upper management. - Kissing up gets your promoted...hard work does not. - Upper management consists of individuals from the original bankrupted Network Plus...needless to say they lack professionalism, actual job knowledge and management experience. There are a few management members that truly care about their employees - these are the few that help maintain some semblance of sanity. - When Granite started, the economy was doing poorly and so they capitalized on mass hiring cheap labor. Unfortunately they still see their employees as bodies and not actual people with families and lives. This leads to interdepartmental struggle and conflict as it turns into an upsetting every man for himself. - The commission structure has been cut back significantly on a yearly basis for multiple depts. - Sales and upper management receive great pay outs for the work the other 90% of the company is actually doing. - A cube farm patrolled by robot like management. If you keep your head down and remain silent you might survive. - A common phrase among depts is "make your money and get out." Those who don't get out suffer anxiety, low pay, no work/life balance, and nightmares. I hold a reputable salaried position, so don't think these cons are coming from an unintelligent disgruntled part timer.
