Pros

Good place to work for. Fair pay, good benefits and opportunities. Management recognizes hard work and successes. Quality products to sell, and good relations with vendors.

Cons

Don't be the low man on the seniority list. No matter how good you are or the rating you get on your review once you are laid off there is never a chance for a return. Company policy is they will never rehire an ex-employee. No matter the reason for the lay off.

Pros

If you can last with the company, pension and stocks are available for your retirement. Branch manager was easy to work with.

Cons

There was little to no training for position. They are focused on high gross margin, but don't work well nationally with manufacturers to negotiate lower pricing. Local branch didn't give time to build relationships. Red tape stops them from doing business.
