Pros

Greater Good Health has a comprehensive benefits package that includes a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, reimbursement for health & wellness activities, 401(k) + match, and mental health support. The people I work with are incredibly smart, passionate, and supportive - in just a short time, I've learned a ton and been challenged in new ways. While Greater Good Health is a startup, there is a strong focus on aligning your work and personal priorities. Leaving your computer closed for the weekend or juggling having your child on a conference call are not frowned upon, and are even encouraged.

Cons

As with many startups, the leadership team is still establishing communications and change management frameworks, and every once in a while, this can lead to some ambiguity. The pace is fast and the goals are lofty, so rolling up your sleeves and being resilient are important. The organization is hybrid (some employees working in-office some of the time while others are fully remote). There is still some work to do to ensure excellent communication and collaboration in a hybrid environment, but huge progress has been made recently with an investment in a project management/collaboration tool.
