Pros

Overall a great place to work. Fair pay, parking was paid, beautiful offices and great attorneys.

Cons

Not able to showcase entire knowledge base to feel part of the team and contributing. Led to seeking other opportunities, that would challenge career goals.

Pros

The practice group I worked in had great people that I really loved working with. GT also attracts some of the best lawyers in any industry which can provide a great environment to learn in and make connections. When things were good and the amount of work was on par with the number of people to do it, this was a positive, dynamic place to learn from industry leaders and get some great experience.

Cons

The group I was in was way understaffed and the paralegals worked in a small room with no windows. Compensation was on the low end of average and there was not a lot of training offered that was applicable to the practice group I was in. Came in at an entry level position and was certainly given more than an entry-level amount of work. It didn't help that our office had trouble holding onto a head of HR.

Pros

The company appreciates its employees, making it a little easier to come to work each day. The NJ office always has a lot of food, which is a plus!

Cons

While we were trained well for some aspects of the job, other parts were hard to figure out without formal training. Also, working in immigration is interesting, but the attornies demand a lot from you. You have to be willing to work late, and give up some weekends to come in and meet deadlines.
