Pros

Ability to spend when and where needed. Good vision at times for the futire

Cons

Upper management completely blind to the needs of the organization. Runs off of testosterone. Hr comes and goes. Sometimes too strong others times ignores needs. Find a middle ground so employees do not have to guess

Pros

From Customer Operations to across the SLT, the most out and LGBT friendly leadership team assembled in advanced manufacturing. Very enjoyable experiences among colleagues at the working level. Excellent opportunities to absorb intellectual property and development skills.

Cons

The progressive behaviors demonstrated in the area of preference, stop abruptly when it comes to people of color. 2 "representative" persons of color in the company, positioned in HR, are transparently and abruptly withdrawn from any activities or decisions of consequence. As other posters have commented, inordinately poor planning and execution. Too much reliance on power-point rather than considered thought and due diligence has resulted in a poor forward investment and cash position for the company. Future will be restricted to a race for the bottom in the commoditization of its product lines.

Pros

good PTO (starts at 20 days), decent work culture, respectable manufacturing operation, a lot of long term employees with industry knowledge, lots of opportunities for advancement as higher ups retire

Cons

lack of decisiveness from management, lots of change that pushes out long term hires, slow to replace retirees and departures, lots of tribal knowledge not captured in SOPs
