A few hard working individuals in the production area.

Cons

Tons of lazy co- worker pretending to be working hard. So called Charge-Hand, that doesn't have the skills to train or know the job itself, other than cherry-picking easy work. Quality Managers that have no clue whats going on the department. Supervisor letting machine operators sleep while machine automatically runs. Company let drunk people come back to work after union meeting. Micromanagement all over, people can't breathe. Low morale...

Pros

Private company with no debt and excellent cashflow. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Does not have the speed and flexibility typically associated with a company of its size. Systems can be improved and streamlined to eliminate non-value-added processes. Structure results in grey areas pertaining to ownership of some important processes which results in slow/poor implementation. Change takes more time than expected due to silos within the structure.

Management lacks communication and direction. There is no opportunity for advancement, just do the job and take on more jobs, without an increase in salary.
