Pros

Benefits are great. People are amazing.

Cons

The company says they care about their people, but they really don't show it. They don't promote from within and they don't give good raises.

Pros

Benefits and health insurance, high commission rate, hire and promote within the company, ability to relocate after a certain amount of time, clothing allowance

Cons

Long hours often with out breaks, lack of professionalism, EXTREMELY cliquish and a lot of favoritism is shown within the company, management doesn't lead by example. If you don't get along with the other team members, or if they find you professionally threatening, then they want your head on a stake. Every property is apparently different, but this particular property was a mess. Extremely high turnover (over 15 people in one year at this particular property). The girls are basically forced to wear tight clothes that are sexually appealing and HAVE to wear heels every day. Rumors of all the employees and residents fly through the building - everywhere from "did you see that outfit", to "that girl is crazy...", to "did you know he was sleeping with her?!" I get that people talk, but it's all that was done. Property manager was barely there or not accessible half the time and the Assistant Manager was probably one of the worst humans I've ever met - big bully, very bratty, and extremely demeaning - definitely not approachable but wanted you to do all the work for the property while she worked on her side business. I was also told I would be paid out on my commissions when I left the company, and I wasn't. At the resident parties, and at after work happy hours, the manager didn't care that the 18 year old drank or that she openly used a fake ID. I was also reprimanded because I didn't go out to a happy hour with said 18 year old after work. I was once told by my manager in a team meeting that "I was too professional and needed to find a personality." I've never heard of any company counseling someone because they were "too professional...." I left work several times crying, and apparently when I left, my Property Manager went and told the other workers what our conversation was about. HR didn't care despite all of the illegal treatment of employees.
