Pros

With Greystar, you will be provided with a set schedule which is great for people who have families or other obligations. Employees get paid time off that increases with employment longevity. Bonus structure is fantastic for leasing professionals. They host paid events and award ceremonies for employees.

Cons

As an employee, you will oftentimes feel pushed to the limit, in terms of what you are expected to do. You will rarely be praised for accomplishments, but rather pushed to perform beyond human capability. This is a typical issue with large corporations and Greystar is no exception.

Clicky and if your face doesn't fit, don't bother

Pros

For nothing but the salary but the hours are long so this really is nothing much to get excited about.

Cons

No flexibility. The growth of the company is too fast so they lose sight of who you are. If you are liked by your manager you will get far. If you are not part of the 'click', don't bother. Be prepared to take your work home with you also. Management is quite poor and confidentiality is lacking.

Pros

Extreme growth and tons of opportunity if you are looking to advance. Huge company with many levels and departments to grow into. Decent salary based on industry standards and good benefits.

Cons

Working with third party managed assets can be a challenge. At times corporate is removed from the property and offers little to no support when needed. Training for new hires is minimal for such a huge company and managers and upper level management are often hired and left to the wolves and to fend for themselves in a sink or swim environment. It's usually sink. Managers are too overloaded as properties are understaffed. Higher turnover due to stress of onsite employees.
