Pros

Good place to get your foot in the door if you want to work with at risk teens. You must be passionate about the population to be successful as an MHT!

Cons

Pay should be more when you have a bachelors degree for an entry level position

Pros

The kids are what kept me at this job Higher ups don’t care about the kids well-being so it’s all on you to make a difference in their lives, whether or not they are getting the right medical/therapy treatment I had some good co-workers that made the job enjoyable The hours aren’t bad

Cons

HR does not care for its employees If you bring up safety issue or an issue with with another employee they will do absolutely nothing about it The higher ups at the facility don’t care for the kids well-being
