I accepted a position at Grifols based on the understanding that the role offered a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days from home, as stated during my onsite interview. However, after orientation, I was informed that this was actually a full-time, in-office role, without the flexibility initially promised.
Additionally, the company failed to disclose a strict PTO blackout period during the phone and onsite interviews. I only learned after starting that all PTO requests for November-December and July-August would be automatically denied, regardless of personal circumstances.
When I raised these concerns during my exit interview, the only response I received was a dismissive "Sorry you feel that way," highlighting a lack of transparency and employee support.
Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and undervalued, which ultimately influenced my decision to move on.
