Pros

The company makes life saving medicines. It is a stable job and the plant is expanding.

Cons

Middle management is arrogant and they promote employees based on favoritism. The merit based performance raises are really just cost of living increases. The company reports record profits year after year but only gave the hourly employees a one percent bonus last year while management got their full bonus. The 401K match is 4%.

Pros

Work life balance is good, they are flexible with hours, and the work we are doing is interesting and ever-changing. I get a lot more responsibility than I would probably get in another entry-level position.

Cons

Spain Management make decisions on every single thing down to day to day activities as well as promotions, even at the lowest possible level. They bring you in entry level and underpaid and have completely reduced promotions to 2 for the entire R&D NC area per YEAR. Only people getting promoted are upper management. This job would be ideal for experience only as you would have to be here many years before your first promotion.

Pros

Great benefits provided for employees. Working in a business in which you are collecting plasma for life saving medications is rewarding.

Cons

Restructuring has led to a culture of fear by all. Employees are being overworked and under appreciated as corporate will not allow for proper staffing of the centers. This creates a revolving door with line staff. Corporate always preaches life/work balance but does not allow this in reality. Corporate also speaks about the ability to operate your center as your business but when this is attempted there are severe repercussions. The company consistently fails to listen to the people that are working in the day to day operations of the center.
