Pros

GM is a low-stress work environment. They have lots of small benefits like free ice cream and salads for lunch every day. They are flexible with work hours. They have both a Grinnell campus and a West Des Moines office.

Cons

The tech they use if very behind the curve. They still use an IBM mainframe running COBOL and Aldon as their VCS. Lots of managers and the red tape that comes with them. They claim to be agile but they have a long way to go before they are their.
