Pros

GO takes good care of its employees health and well-being! We have a great wellness program in-place from fitness classes, gym onsite, wellness room, healthy food and beverages! It offers great opportunity professionally to grow and has an open, collaborative working environment. This place has a lot of history, longevity and tenure. Culture welcomes and promotes new ideas, hard work and fun!

Cons

So far so good!

Pros

The customers are probably the best part since you're interacting with them all day. My coworkers were extremely helpful and were down-to-earth people for the most part, especially since we were of the same age group.

Cons

Management, big time. Since this was my very first job I felt lost and nervous the first week I was there. My "training" consisted of a YouTube video and a fifteen minute overview of a cash register, then I was pushed into the deep end. Since I was new, all I was allowed to do was work the cash registers. Whenever I had a question, I would ask my coworkers instead of the manager. The manager was intimidating and condescending in their tone, and I would be extremely reluctant to ask them questions. Later on I saw that there was a lot of favoritism and I was being treated unfairly. At one point I was getting shorter breaks/lunches than my coworkers. Within a month I saw 5 people leave, and it's probably due to that reason. Customers have even reported the high amount of turnaround in employees, so that says a little something about working for the compant.

Pros

It was a place where I meet a lot of nice people. The customers were great!

Cons

Poor management. It's like working for a bunch of kids. Wait you are and it shows in management as well as owners. If schedule is put out once a week and your not on it are you fired or did they just forget? You wouldn't know because management won't tell you and the owners are conveniently out of town till Thursday for a corporate meeting. Also, no back brace offered and no assistance with moving pallets. If you have spoken to management and owners and still nothing is fixed. No a good sign. Bad management and poor ownership.
