Pros

Coworkers are great, very friendly, and care for one another. Lots of swearing, and HR will leave you alone. Not a suit and tie environment.

Cons

Management is the pits of this company. Deceitful, manipulative, and back stabbing to further their stance in the company. Try to lead through a sense of superiority and fear. Workers are extremely unhappy and feel used and unappreciated. Very high turnover. Only a handful of workers can withstand past a year or two.

Pros

Paycheck....sometimes You get to do nothing at work and collect a paycheck. (Look at how many people stand around and chat all day) Many unpaid days off because there is no work to do. (Nobody is buying their product) If you please the founder, you get promoted and given "hush" money. (At least 5 people got magically promoted and were given obnoxious salaries for their positions, and somehow all of them were females who were assigned to be one persons assistant) They promote an alcoholic culture, which stems from the top being raging alcoholics. So if you like to drink and get stupidly drunk to make bad decisions, they will be your best friends. If you know someone in management, you get a job without meeting the actual requirements of the job. Not that this is legal, but they don't care. You get to go to work every day in fear that they will fire you, which they will remind you of every day. Massive severance if you really screw up but hold some dark secrets about the founders past "doings".

Cons

Toxic leadership. Half the people there are either drunk or stoned, but nobody cares. Your written statements go right into the shredder about harassment. Get fired if someone doesn't like you, not based on performance. You never get responses to your inquires. Company has gone down hill which is proven by them firing the whole HR department who cared about the employees (the only ones really). Leaders will always take the accomplishments of the team and discipline you for their failures. Communication is nonexistent. You really will have no idea whats going on or what you are supposed to do 99% of the time. Hard work is ignored, sucking up is favored. They brought in a "consultant" to do some dirty work they didn't have the guts to do themselves. They try and run the company like the military, or what is left of it. Its a total disaster which is why no civilian company runs their company like the military. Very little to no upward growth. You are stuck in your position until they fire you or let you go. Massive layoffs. The investors are just looking for their money back, so they are cutting a lot of headcount to save money.
