Pros

Supports and gives opportunities to young veterans.

Cons

Low pay. Poor management/culture. Many key and good management/VP's have left or were terminated due to financial problems. Got too greedy and leaking cash. Under Armour is safe.

the office is the good life

Pros

good people, and a great place to work if you arent one of the demi-humans in production/shipping

Cons

the office is the good life, and if you arent in the fish tank front, you arent treated as human. smoke breaks are banned in production and shipping, although everyone watches office employees walk past multiple times a day for it. or have fun watching office employees get paid more to have nerf gun fights all day. and if you start in production especially, good luck going anywhere. the shift leaders try their best to stonewall promotions, and it seems the only way to get a pay raise is to threaten to quit and hope they like you enough to not let you go immediatly. and if that doesnt deter you, theres the fact that there is no financial gain for drastically increased responsibility. the people catching tshirts at the end of an oven make the same as the people who are responsible for entire projects, and maintenance for thier respective machines. and if you dont like it, theyll fure you and hire a temp to take your place. all in all. the turnaround is crazy high from these reasons. all in all, work in the office or get ready to be treated like crap.

High Stress, Crappy Benefits, Low Pay

Pros

Free t-shirt if its under $20 once a month, if your selection is over-stocked

Cons

There is very little work/life balance. You are expected to be available just about 24/7, to the point of being expected to respond to emails on the weekends/after work hours within one hour regardless of what the subject/urgency is. Turn over is VERY high (2016 was over 70%) with most of the churn being in Production/Shipping. Benefits are pretty crappy. The health insurance has a very high out of pocket and is VERY expensive. During a company meeting, a "Guest Speaker" came in to give a motovational speech to the company. The speaker asked the Owner, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) if there was ANYONE in the company who they would like to recognize for their hard work... None of the 3 individuals could come up with anyone..... Management rules through a culture of fear. Make a mistake and they will fire you immediately.... Unless you are part of the "popular crowd". Inter-departmentally, the company is extremely fractured. Excessive amount of meetings. If you are in a leadership role, you can expect to spend 1/4 to 1/3 of your time in meetings, most of which are redundant and simply rehash the same material. For a company that touts the importance of "American Manufacturing", everything is manufactured overseas. The only thing that is done "In House" is the actual printing of the shirts. The majority of the garments come from Nicaragua, Eygpt, Pakistan (Seriously PAKISTAN?!?!?!), and other countries. Even the "Made In The U.S.A." design shirt is from Nicaragua (Ironic I know).
