Pros

A culture trying to change and modernize. Some smart people mixed in with a lot of mediocre.

Cons

While Guardian is trying in earnest to make up for lost time by modernizing there are many legacy systems and mindsets firmly in place at all levels of the organization. This is a very hierarchical, old fashioned organization with old world views of power.

Pros

Good vacation and time off. Some decent people. Complies with FMLA. Good sick time off policy. Good additional benefits for work life.

Cons

Outsourcing. Snooty cliques. Advancement bases on who you are friends with. Lousy training programs.
