Pros

Makes $$$, offers a pension (though now less attractive due to benefit reduction), good, caring coworkers, advancement opportunities expecially for career oriented women.

Cons

Horrible work/life balance, viewes as an expense vs employee, disfavors tenured staff, new senior management does not learn what does not work but only wants to implement what worked at last company (regardless of the outdated systems can't handle) to ensure officer bonus. 401K match and extra $$$ not as good now even though company has banner years. All extra goes to senior management.

Pros

Guardian has great employee benefits such as medical, dental and disability insurance. Prices are reasonable too for the coverage you get.

Cons

Heavy, never ending workload. There seems to be a major disconnect between the management, staff and HR.
