Pros

Good benefits, decent pay. Its very interesting to work there. A lot of interesting people are there. Nice staff. Nice customers.

Cons

A little boring sometimes. All you do all day can be grunt work if you're not a pharmD. Still not enough amenities to keep workers satisfied sometimes.

Pros

Pay rate, benefits, 401K. I was hired in Data Entry at $14/hour but when I become a supervisor and interviewed candidates they offered as much as $20/hour. Don't suggest a low pay rate because they will take it.

Cons

The most difficult job I ever had. Several "deadlines" every shift when the meds leave for delivery and it can be a nightmare. Horrible nurses at the homes who complain constantly due to disorganization and Data Entry takes all the calls. We adjudicate the claims as well and if there is an issue you have to make the call to send the med or not and its a loosing battle. One day you don't send the $1000 antibiotic and you get written up and the next you send the same med and get written up for the high cost. It's unsettling. They are always looking to play the blame game and the pharmacists are not held responsible as much as the technician who processed it. I was good at my job and promoted but I asked myself daily if I was going to get fired. They fired people constantly and for unexplained reasons. Worst job ever. Stressful, difficult, and office politics.

Corporation doesn't care about employees.

Pros

Local part is ran well. Love the people I work with.

Cons

Corporate doesn't care about individual businesses or employees. The health insurance is horrible and the pay for the amount of work required is ridiculously low. Corporate has no incentives for employees. If your business grows, you still get no raises or incentive money to the employees who actually do the work.
