Pros

Caring environment with many perks if you can take advantage of them

Cons

High call volume. They expect you to take a certain amount of calls per day I think 40. It can ware on you in the long run if you let it

Pros

Paid well, great benefits, on-site gym, great welcome package on first day with swag and other branded gear, my team was awesome, internal growth was common throughout different departments so a good opportunity for career growth and professional development, good work/life balance

Cons

Very poor handling of COVID. Very conservative and not focused AT ALL on diversity and inclusion (wouldn't even mention Pride or anything relating to equality, internally and externally, and there is little to no diversity in who they employ. God forbid anything related to the company featured a gay couple or anything other than a standard, usually white, family.). Some departments got to work from home while others didn't (in fact, it was completely taboo to work from home, even during COVID and you still felt so unbelievably guilty if you couldn't make it into the office due to extenuating circumstances such as care trouble etc.). Although classified as a tech company, Guardian is archaic in the products/services they offer and the work environment that they provide their employees – they continuously shot down ideas and suggestions on how to bring the company into the modern age to keep up with competitors.
