Pros

The managers are very understanding and flexible. I never feel like I'm pressured to meet quotas or exceed my own abilities. If you fail here, it's going to be your own fault. The benefits are great, as the company pays 70% of your health insurance, and has a 401K match.

Cons

I wish there were more of a base salary.

There was way too much turnover because the sales reps didn't feel they could make any money there.

Pros

You have the freedom to call on any businesses you want to since you are in charge of the project and often the churches are very helpful in directing you to businesses that might want to advertise in the church directory.

Cons

You never know if your 2-3 week project you are assigned to is going to be a healthy one, where the church has a lot of members and where they support the directory by advertising in it or if it's going to be a small church where businesses don't see the valuein advertising to such a small audience.
