Over 4 years here and still going strong
Pros
I started out as an Account Executive with GBP, and I'm now a District Manager. The company treats you like an adult and gives you all the tools that you need to do your job properly. They also do their job by offering a very competitive benefits package that pays for 70% of your health insurance, performance bonuses, and a great 401K plan with a dollar for dollar match. Like any other sales position, your base income relies on your ability to go out and get it done. If you are searching this site to determine if this job is for you, my suggestion would be to schedule an interview and talk with the District Manager (there are only 4 of us) about the position. If you still have questions or concerns, ask the DM if he/she would consider letting you speak with one or two of our current Account Executives. I promise you we won't say no. Go strait to the source and find out for yourself and you'll see what a great support staff GBP has.
Cons
GBP spent the better part of the last 5-7 years putting resources toward building a better product for our AE's to sell, and did an outstanding job of that. However, the extreme focus on the product meant that other things like office technology and web design went by the wayside. There have been major strides in this area recently and things are moving quickly...as they usually do when GBP goes all in on something. I can't wait to see where we are as a company 12-24 months from now.
