      Great Company, Inexperienced Management

      Pros

      All positions are remote. Fast paced, growing company. Excellent customer base. Regional sales teams are personable and hardworking.

      Cons

      Misrepresented job descriptions engineered by inexperienced management. Lack of communication on the items that should be addressed. Heavily micromanaged. Zero trust in employees.

      Pros

      Access to a lot of incredibly talented and smart individuals and strong partnerships with security vendors. Great company if you are experienced as the salary is extremely competitive. Great jumping point to a security career.

      Cons

      The company was founded and grown through personal networks and as such, there are a lot of personal friendships that transcend managerial duties. While there is an open door policy with leadership know that privacy is not respected, anything you think is private, isn't. Account Executives have their own agenda's, engineers and consultants are thrown under the bus within a moments notice if it benefits them/their clients. While engineers have more centralized management, sales does not, and since they are bringing in previous clients, aka profit, they are given a wide berth. If you aren't already highly experienced, expect a high salary differential with your counterparts, even if you bill at the same rate and have the same billable percentage.

      Pros

      Not a company that just sits around and recites buzz words. This is an ACTIVE company that lives and breathes IT Security. Sooooo many of the employees talk security, trade in security, and play in security. Need a solution, GPS is someone you want to give a viewpoint from. Period.

      Cons

      This is not so much a con as it is a warning. This is not an average firm. You need to excel. They will help, but you need to be a self starter.
