Pros

- opportunity here is amazing, the product is something you can really get behind and the market is still developing - office culture is unlike anywhere else I've worked, team are supportive of everything and work really well together - encouraged to be innovative and have ownership of projects - this is really empowering as an employee and you feel directly responsible and involved with team success - perks!

Cons

- its not easy, the team is small and you really have to roll your sleeves up and get involved, so if this isn't your style of working then you wouldn't enjoy it - the market is new and developing, people have had bad experiences of apps in the past and we're working to change this

Pros

I have never worked for a company that is so transparent or honest with their staff. Right from the board down - people are honest about what we're trying to achieve, how we're going to get there, and how far away we currently are. Apart from working day in and day out with a great product that I believe in, I'm also fortunate enough to be surrounded by a team of intelligent and ambitious individuals. The leadership is heavily focused on progression and personal development - and there are ample opportunities to take ownership and show initiative. Add to that the dart board, beer fridge, free team lunch on Tuesday's and Thursday's, standing desks, free fruit/snacks, and share options - and you have a very rewarding and fun place to work.

Cons

Being in a start-up can be hard at times, staff members will inevitably leave or be let go - and this can create gaps (or opportunities depending on how you look at it). It's not unlikely that after just 6 months you will have a lot of responsibility, and it's not the kind of job you can just leave at the door. You need to be prepared to work more than the standard 9-5, and proactively think about how you can make a difference. Don't join Guidebook to just be another cog in the wheel - you'll quickly get rusty!

Amazing company to work!

Pros

During my time working at Guidebook I could experience that is a company full of life and it is a place where i can work with people from around the world and exchange so many experiences. My co-workers are always happy and motivated. Honestly, i really need to say that i learned so much and i'm still learning a lot with my colleagues. The Guidebook's rapid growing is justified by the success of our product and the competence of the managers.

Cons

Maybe the high turnover of CSA's could be something normal because they're in the front of the big challenges that this department offers, but unfortunately it end up being unfavorable in relation to communication and some internal processes.
