Fraud investigations, money laundering alerts, SAR filing
Pros
Good starter job if fresh out of college, quarterly bonuses for top performers, provide adequate vacation time (however, only so many people can be out around holidays), managers/supervisors are easy to work with, they try to make weekly meetings fun and shout out employees to make them feel appreciated.
Cons
Repetitive, lack of communication from management, surging 45-50 hours per week at fixed salary, constantly being pushed to meet production goals each week, high turnover rate, constant change in guidance, not much room for growth (you’re either on a team pushing alerts or you’re the supervisor of a team reviewing your teams alerts), it’s easy to feel like the work you’re doing isn’t appreciated and like you’re doing the same thing every day.
