Too much low quality staff augmentation work

Pros

Easy work once you get past the innitial set ups on a project.

Cons

The reason the work is easy is because it's simplistic work that the company would have seen as beneath them when they were formerly a part of PWC. But the work is high volume despite simplicity. Being acquired by a private equity firm has resulted in the soul and pride being sucked out. Salaries are meh compared to Big4, but they still believe they can treat you like it is one. The brand name is not powerful enough to justify expectations. I can see why attrition is high and Deloitte wiped out half my team through recruiting them.

Good benefits, good benefits administrator backpack, water bottle, when you join The health segment seemed to have a healthy work culture

Cons

--Abusive, toxic work culture: kiss-up, kick down. The norm is for managers or more experienced team members to treat new or less senior people with disrespect, to not properly document or explain what has been done, and then to publicly criticize and abuse when work has not met their poorly defined expectations. --The "pathfinder" chosen for you is usually your boss. If you have a bad one, there is no recourse. --There was 1 HR business partner for about 1,000 employees in advanced solutions, so of course they don't have time to handle any concerns. --After some time, the disempowering culture, lack of agency, and poor team environment make you give up on trying to improve the place and to focus on getting out. Which then makes the place worse.
