Pros

--Interesting Work. I got to work on a lot of interesting projects and some things I was really proud of. --Decent compensation. Compensation was fair for my level of experience. --Educational Opportunities. Guidehouse has programs to pay for you to get certifications or go back to school.

Cons

--Terrible Work/Life Balance (multiple 80-100 hour weeks, then weeks where there's nothing and my ratio starts to look bad). --Wildly different experiences on different teams. Guidehouse was built by acquisition and it shows. Good teams are great. Bad teams are terrible. --Mistakes are not tolerated. --Sick time, meetings with your boss, mandatory training, all-hands discussions all count against your ratio.

Pros

I like many of my coworkers.

Cons

GH has a lot of potential, but a plethora of resource allocation problems by "leadership" individuals who have little to no industry knowledge until they've severely upset the client, then bring in the other "SME's" (i.e. MC's and below who get billed at much less than the AD/D/ P and senior leaders). So tired of being pigeon - holed into a salary that is so under paid for my YOE.
