Pros

Decent pay (or so they say). Pantry is good but who knows how long it'll last with the poor office performance. Honestly the perks are not worth the daily torture.

Cons

TLDR: Worse management ever. Her goal is to make the ship sink faster. She has her personal KPI - leaves/terminations per month. She's on a record streak - with a record high attrition now. If you're interviewing with GP (and is still going ahead after reading this....), be prepared for her to force you to accept the job offer immediately, otherwise she will withdraw the offer. > Managers were complaining their efforts to interviews are gone to waste just because she withdraws offers for no reason. Lets talk about rational cons: 1. No work life balance: you're expected to reply to experts / clients / management beyond work hours, and during holidays. --> Let's add management words: "Bring your workphone when you travel" "Roaming disabled? Please connect to wifi whenever possible. Still bring your workphone" 2. Unclear promotion criteria: KPI is indicated but not adhered to. On top of that, KPIs get insanely high to a point its not humanly feasible. --> Management's monthly KPIs are heavily inflated. She doesn't seem to factor in that employees are leaving and are expecting remaining headcount to hit same mom/yoy targets. 3. Pathetic increments: Partly due to office performance (and impossible targets). But also, when employees get promoted to managers, their salary will drop as the commissions falls initially. Recovery to pre-promotion salary can take 1-2years of growth. --> Throw in management's decision to freeze salaries for 2 years. Ok now about the management. Many comments earlier are true regarding her.. Following looks lengthy (chatgpt summarised), but it is just the tip of the iceberg. (that is how bad it is) Micromanagement: The boss's style is much worse than what people expect; it’s extreme and controlling. Emotionally unstable boss: The boss has unpredictable outbursts, which can happen at any time, even without warning. No business sense: The boss made decisions like removing high-performing accounts from PMs, which negatively affected key metrics for the accounts. Immediate terminations: Employees can be fired at any time without explanation or justification, even if they’re performing well. Double standards - She leaves before 6pm, she doesn't adhere to 50% work in office. On the other hand, she rejects any requests to leave before 6, and checks everyone like a hawk with a locked excel sheet. (she is that free, and yes micromanagement) Banned from taking holidays - 2 months of blocked leave, even with full manpower.

Pros

Location of the office. at least good meals are available under all the misery

Cons

Ultimate micromanagement. Upper management in HQ provides zero support and have zero knowledge of what's happening on the ground. Ended up letting the most senior person in SG run amok resulting in all the employees feeling belittled, unmotivated. Constant gaslighting and always dismissing others rudely ensuring everyone knows she is standing at the top and her words are absolute. Zero voice in this company/office. Salary freeze for multiple years, zero increment and management only promote favored staff. HR and management are delusional about the wonderful culture they have but in fact absolutely toxic. Working hours are also messed up. They always expect you to reply emails even after working hours just because you have to do it. Too many to list down but join at your own risk.

Pros

Like I said before, there will be some great people you will meet here, and the push for team camaraderie is a fun respectable aspect.

Cons

Shared my honest, fair experience at Guidepoint, both the good and the bad -- one of the bad being the Senior VP of Sales was a big bully. They immediately got Glassdoor to take it down. If you were curious about what working at Guidepoint is like, here's your taste. Getting your voice erased cause they don't like it is just part of the deal.
