Pros

1. The base salary is high however, this is only because the commission structure is very poor. 2. Good office location 3. Flexible hybrid working

Cons

Where do I begin? 1. Not credited for the work you do. Project Managers get all the credit when you are the one recruiting the experts. It is so micromanaged. Project Managers are lazy and rude. 2. The London team is the worst. The PMs and Research Managers are rude, gossipy and cliquey. Not welcoming to new joiners. They have their 'Original' people that think they run the place and can talk to associates however they want just because they've worked at the company for 3-5 years. 3. If they tell you the commission structure is great - it's not! If you want to work in an expert network/recruitment industry with an OTE of £50,000 - £60,000 then Guidepoint is not the one. 4. They only promote people based on numbers. Don't take into account experience. 5. Managers are not trained and again - think they can speak to associates however they want. 6. Working culture is absolutely terrible. Look at the turnover rate. I joined with 6 other associates and we all have left. Isnt that saying something. 7. Managers favour other associates. 8. The three London teams are not equal. 9. Borderline bullying in the workplace. 10. Do not take into consideration stuff that is going on in your personal life,

While we thank you for sharing your personal experience with us, we believe that it is not indicative of the experience of the majority of employees. Guidepoint is working hard to build a culture of professionalism, and we strongly encourage all employees to report inappropriate behavior immediately. Additionally, all employees are required to complete annual training regarding conduct in the workplace. Please be assured that our HR and management teams take this matter very seriously and if you would like to discuss your concerns further, please reach out to us at feedback@guidepoint.com.

Pros

Team!!! Never experienced a more friendly, nice and great work atmosphere. Team Events are usually well planned and often. Good opportunity for non-german speaking people who want to do their first steps.

Cons

At least the job as an Research Analyst is really one-sided and the SAME SAME SAME SAME SAME everyday. You do not learn any hard skills. You do not learn any detailed knowledge about a topic. It takes only up to 2 weeks to learn the job. After that no other skills to achieve. Also growth opportunities are super limited. Payment and also Incentive system (only based on luck) are horrible. It has almost nothing to do with a RESEARCH role. Holidays are only minimum for Germany. And they even TRY to tell you when to take the holidays. If you are not self confident enough, no chance to place them whenever you feel like taking them. No social benefits!
