Pros

I made amazing friends who I am still in touch with

Cons

I worked here when I first moved to NYC and I quickly developed a resentful relationship with management and was in constant fight or flight mode. You will be belittled, disrespected, and made to feel untrustworthy. I left the company months ago and am still dealing with repercussions and have so much pent up resentment. If there’s one thing I hope this review does, it’s prevent someone for applying or taking a job at Guidepoint. Such a corrupt company and went to HR and/or my manager multiple times with feedback and no actions were ever taken. It’s shocking that management has not been restructured or replaced based on how many complaints HR gets.

Pros

Easy to get through interviews

Cons

The managers walk around like they run town. There is a steep learning curve and certain managers will get mad at new comers for not understanding. Use it as a filler job and move on

Pros

- Good people (only lower level) - Nice office - Learn to work in a fast-paced environment.

Cons

- Horrible work/life balance: talk to anyone who has been here for more than 3 months - they are miserable and looking to leave - Too much work for too few people. Overworked and expected to work outside of normal working hours/through lunch with no overtime pay - Upper level management is out of touch with lower level employees - Upper level management does not know how to manage people. Make passive aggressive comments, only focused on numbers and not the actual people working for them - Salary increase with any promotion is negligible - only a few thousand at most - Lack of diversity in upper management, clear favoritism towards certain employees, lack of support for POC - Employee turnover is astronomically high which pushes more work onto others.
